Alix Earle Teases “Lots of Plans” Following Podcast Drama
Alix Earle is dreaming big.
While the TikTok creator recently announced she was stepping away from her Hot Mess podcast, she’s got plenty of new pursuits in the works.
“Lots of plans, lots of dreams,” she teased during an exclusive interview with E! News at the 2025 Kentucky Derby in Louisville, Ky., May 3. “But I don't want to jinx anything.”
The 24-year-old—who attended the annual horseracing event with boyfriend Braxton Berrios—revealed she was halting production of her podcast earlier this year after reports surfaced that she had been dropped from Alex Cooper’s Unwell network. Now, she says she’s considering a potential entry into the world of film and TV.
“I think acting is fun,” she continued. “I would love to explore that. Maybe someday, we'll see.”
But before Alix takes on any onscreen roles, she’s focused on being portraying herself as authentically as possible for her millions of online followers.
“I don't think too much before I post,” she explained. “It's very candid and in the moment. Before I saw success on social media, I would see myself overthinking everything and trying to filter it in a way. I think the moment that I let go is when I saw success in it, and that's what I try to stick to.”
Back in March, Alix addressed her decision to take a step back from her podcast, sharing that she would instead begin making weekly vlogs on YouTube.
“I have to put a pause on podcasting right now for the foreseeable future,” she said in a video posted on TikTok at the time. “Don't really want to get into the details of it all, and I kind of can't get into the details of it all right now, but I've loved it so much, and I'm really proud of what I built with the podcast.”
That same month, Alex, 30, spoke out to declare she was not involved in Alix’s departure from Unwell.
“Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell,” she wrote in an Instagram Stories post at the time, noting that her company gave Alix her intellectual property. “Idk why she can’t/what’s going on.”
